On Wednesday the 2nd of February 2011 at Lotusphere 2011 (#LS11) the Yellow Suit made it's first appearance.

The reaction was overwhelming, people loved it.

So now I had your attention, and it was time to back that up with the message; BP106 "Where is the love, how to get your users to fall in love with Lotus Notes".

The response from the session was mind-blowing. The positive reaction to the message that was contained within the session was repeated back to me over and over for the next two days, with people congratulating and thanking me for the presentation that I had delivered.

You are all well and truly welcome!

Mitch Cohen gave me the quote of #LS11: "Lotusphere energises you, it gets you ready to face the year".

I hope that my session had something to do with that for you, and if you attended my session I thank you for hearing the message and responding so positively to it. Reading your evaluations on the plane on the way home has given me the top-up that I needed to go forth and continue spreading the word.

The message this year was "Lotus is Social". Yes, we who use Lotus Notes KNOW that. It's the software that Lotusphere informs you about, and the people that you meet there that make Lotusphere such a very special conference.

I can't wait until next year to experience it all again. Bill, I will do my very best to live up to your delegation.

In the meantime I am prepared and energised for another year of consulting, developing, administering, training and evangelising - thanks to all of YOU!

There are admins who didn't go to Florida but would like the users to love Notes as well :-)

Mat, your session was ace, mate!

Not only were you injecting energy directly into our yellowblooded hearts, but you also made it perfectly obvious, that we - the yellowbubblers - should take a good, hard look at ourselves when we whinge about the lack of marketing initiatives from IBM.

It is OUR responsibility to 'sell' Notes to our users, and we can do a heck of a lot better at it.

The only problem is ... we're nerdy techies. We don't usually 'sell'. We feel that the brilliance of Notes should be perfectly obvious to every rationally thinking soul out there, and they should 'get it' themselves. Well ... they don't.

We need stand on the shoulders of others, in this case - you, to succeed in selling.

You must, must, MUST make a screencast of your demo, and PLEASE make your script available too, so we can all grab your brilliant examples and add our own, so we can drill like mad to make a tight, solid 10 minute demo to present to our users.

We all need to put the Lotus Rock'n'Roll out there!

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant (and I don't just mean the suit). The 10 minute demo was unlike anything I had ever seen. How anyone could not feel the love after that is beyond me! I really enjoyed meeting you and hope to be able to get back to LS12.

There were many very good sessions at LS11 but your session was absolutely FANTASTIC! Do you know if your session was recorded and if it will be available online? I would love to have all my people see it and get a dose of your message and your infectious presentation style.
