Announcing the availability of the Totally Unofficial Totally Unsupported IBM ConnectED Session Database
Mat Newman January 14 2015 11:14:32
A couple of years a group of enterprising individuals picked up the mantle left by Ben Langhinrichs and created the IBM Connect 2013 and 2014 session databases. This year the conference has been renamed to IBM ConnectED, which of course would not be complete without the communities Totally Unofficial, Totally Unsupported IBM Notes Session Database.A HUGE amount of thanks to the following people who did the work to get this IBM Notes Database back online for 2015:
Rob Novak: AJAX Parts
Karl Henry Martinson: JSON Parts
Vitor Pereira: Imports, using the above and killer instinct on finding the data
Giuseppe Grasso: Mobile and XPages
Andreas Imnitzer: Compatibility and Set-up 2014
Giulio Campobassi: Mobilite integration
Gab Davies/Turtle: Thanks for the Server!
In addition, I have been informed that a couple of other community members in Marky Roden and Mark Leusink also have a surprise in store as part of their session at IBM ConnectED utilising the Session Database as one of their examples.
You can download the IBM ConnectED 2015 version of the database: download HERE ( <- Right-Click, Download).
Once you have downloaded and unzipped the file, just put the sphere2015.nsf database in your IBM Notes data directory, choose the session you want to attend, and then click "Add to Calendar". It's that easy. You can also keep your local replica up to date just by clicking on the "Sync with Server" action, which will connect to the fabulous Tim and Gabriella Davis's servers at the Turtle Partnership and keep your information up to date.
Keep an eye out. More features will be available soon.
ENJOY!
Sorry about using the latest version of IBM Notes to create the download folks, for those of you with OLD versions of "Lotus Notes" there is an alternative download for the TUTU database that should work on versions from 7.0+, which you can get HERE: download HERE ( <- Right-Click, Download)
